Lakhs of Users Benefitting from Seamless Travel via Namo Bharat Connect Mobile App

-Namo Bharat Connect App Crosses 3.5 Lakh Users, Driving Smart and Seamless Commuting

Meerut.The Namo Bharat Connect mobile app is enabling a smooth and convenient travel experience for the commuters. With the growing popularity of Namo Bharat services, the number of users adopting the app has also witnessed a steady rise. The total number of users has now crossed 3.5 lakh, highlighting its growing popularity among commuters. As of February 2026, more than 3.61 lakh users are availing a range of services on the app, from digital QR ticketing to real-time train tracking, making it a one-stop solution for smart and hassle-free travel.

Through the app, passengers can conveniently purchase digital QR tickets for both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro without standing in queues at ticket counters. In the last three months alone, over 6.7 lakh digital tickets have been sold via the app. Cumulatively, more than 24.7 lakh digital tickets have been booked through the platform till February 2026. 

Beyond ticketing, the app offers a host of passenger-centric features including real-time train tracking, live parking availability, lost and found services, grievance redressal, women’s safety assistance, passenger helpline, and accessibility support for persons with disabilities.

The live train tracking feature provides accurate updates on train location and expected arrival time. It offers real-time information for the next 30 minutes, including current train position, upcoming stations, and estimated arrival timings, enabling passengers to plan their journeys more efficiently. Additionally, the app also offers last-mile connectivity options, allowing users to access feeder bus services and mobility partners such as Rapido for a seamless end-to-end journey.

The live parking status feature enables passengers to check parking availability at Namo Bharat stations in real time. Users can view the number of available and occupied slots for both two-wheelers and cars, helping them make informed decisions in advance. This feature is emerging as a gamechanger, especially for commuters travelling to stations using their personal vehicles. For instance, passengers planning to board from Guldhar Namo Bharat Station can check parking availability beforehand and plan accordingly.

For lost belongings, the app includes a ‘Lost and Found’ feature, allowing passengers to register complaints and check items recovered by Namo Bharat staff. Passengers can identify their belongings from the list of recovered items available on the app and claim them by contacting the Lost and Found Centre at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station, after completing the prescribed verification process.

Passengers can also use the ‘Help and Support’ feature within the app to seek assistance or connect with staff via call.

In addition, the app offers integrated ticketing with Delhi Metro, enabling passengers to book Delhi Metro QR tickets directly through the Namo Bharat Connect app. Similarly, Namo Bharat tickets can also be booked via the DMRC Momentum 2.0 app. This integrated system allows passengers to view the total fare for their journey and make a single, secure payment using UPI, debit/credit cards, or internet banking, providing combined benefits to users of both transport networks.

Over the past three months, more than 59,000 Delhi Metro tickets have been booked through the Namo Bharat app, while over 32,000 Namo Bharat tickets have been purchased via the DMRC app. Overall, the integrated ticketing system has recorded the sale of more than 3.17 lakh digital tickets as of February 2026.

Recently, NCRTC has partnered with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to introduce integrated ticketing, further enhancing passenger convenience. Through the Namo Bharat app, users can directly access the Indian Railways booking platform via the IRCTC icon and plan their journeys seamlessly. Similarly, passengers booking tickets on the Indian Railways platform can access the NCRTC icon to book their onward journey on Namo Bharat.

The app is available for both Android and iOS users on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It can also be downloaded by scanning a QR code, making access quick and convenient. With its wide range of features, the Namo Bharat Connect app is helping make commuter journeys smarter, safer, and more convenient.
