12year Master Arav undertook bycycle yatra delhi to kargil
New delhi -Master Arav Bhardwaj (12 yrs) born in Mumbai and a student of Heritage School Rohini Delhi, undertook a Bicycle Yatra from Kargil War Memorial, Kargil, Ladakh to National War Memorial, New Delhi on the occasion of Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay to pay Homage to the Kargil Heros who laid down their lives for safeguarding the territorial integrity of our great nation and to inspire the young generation to realize the importance of the day/supreme sacrifice of the Brave sons of Bharat
Arav paid floral Tributes to the Kargil Heros on 26th July 2024 at Kargil War Memorial. His yatra supported by the Ministry of Defence and Indian Army was flagged off by Col. Shashank Tripathi Commanding Officer on 27th July, 2024. The yatra concluded at National War Memorial, New Delhi on 8th August, 2024 where he was blessed by Col. Rakesh Kumar Anand with a Momento.
His 13 days, 1251 Kms yatra passed through the States/Union Territories of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Delhi.
In Chandigarh the Director General of Police, Punjab blessed Arav at his office on 5th August, 2024 and presented a Momento. Arav also carried the Message " Say No to Drugs Say Yes to Punjab".
The Hon'ble Haryana Chief Minister, Shri Nayab Singh Saini also blessed Master Arav in Chandigarh on 5th August, 2024.
During the Yatra Arav visited the Zojila War Memorial Dimri, Badami Bagh War Memorial Srinagar, Atari Border, Punjab State War Heros Memorial and Jalianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Jang+E-Azadi Memorial, Kartarpur,Jalandhar, Khatkar Kalan, Ancestral house and Museums of Shaheed -E-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh ji and many more Memorials and paid floral Tributes
He also met Veer Naris in Jammu Viz. Wife of Subedar Bahadur Singh VrC and mother of Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia SM and sought their Blessings.
Arav visited many schools en route, including Sainik School Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir and shared his experience with the children.
In 2022 also, when he was 10 years, Arav undertook a 32 days, 2612 Kms Bicycle Yatra from INA Memorial Moirang, Manipur to National War Memorial, New Delhi to commemorate the 125th Birth Anniversary of Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Bose and to celebrate the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Yatra was flagged off by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N. Biren Singh Ji on the occasion of 78th Flag Hoisting day on 14.04.2022.The yatra concluded on 15th May, 2022 at National War Memorial, New Delhi when he was blessed by Col Aakash with Armed forces Medal.
The yatra passed through 8 States/ Union Territories ie, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.
During the Yatra on the way he visited and paid respect at places related to India's freedom struggle such as Red Hill , Naga War Memorial, Kohima Champaran, Chauri Chaura, Gumnami Baba Samadhi, Kakiri, Shahjahanpur and Meerut to pay tribute to the Hero's of Independence.
Both the Yatras got huge response from the fellow Indians throughout the route and wide coverage in print, social and electronic media.
The Yatras of Master Arav Bhardwaj first being tributes to Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th Birth Anniversary and his INA and the second a Homage to Kargil War Martyrs on the Rajat Jayanti of Kargil War have immensely inspired, Motivated and influenced the young generation pan India.
