NCRTC Launches Namo Bharat Short Film-Making Competition

Meerut-The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is excited to announce the launch of the Namo Bharat Short Film-Making Competition, a unique and unmissable opportunity for filmmakers across the country. This competition is open to content creators and filmmakers from all walks of life.

This competition is designed to provide filmmakers with an extraordinary platform to showcase their creativity. Filmmakers are invited to create compelling short films with no restrictions on genre or storyline. The only requirement is that the films feature the RRTS stations and Namo Bharat trains in a creative form.

This is a chance for filmmakers to bring their visions to life using a dynamic and fresh setting that is unlike any other. NCRTC is offering a platform where filmmakers can push the boundaries of their creativity while exploring a visually striking and modern environment.

The RRTS infrastructure is a modern, lively space that offers a perfect canvas for creative storytelling. Its innovative design and impact on urban mobility provide a unique backdrop for filmmakers. Best of all, shooting at RRTS stations and aboard the Namo Bharat trains is completely free, making this an even more exciting opportunity to bring your creativity to life. 

aubmissions are accepted in English or Hindi, with optional subtitles. Films must be submitted in MP4 or MOV format with a minimum resolution of 1080p, ensuring high-quality visuals that captivate audiences.

This competition is open to college students, independent filmmakers, and aspiring content creators from all walks of life. The top three winners will receive cash prizes of INR 1,50,000, INR 1,00,000, and INR 50,000, respectively. Winning films may also be featured on NCRTC’s digital platforms, providing valuable exposure and recognition within the industry.

To participate, applicants should email pr@ncrtc.in with the subject line: “Application for Namo Bharat Short Film-Making Competition.” The email must include the applicant's full name, a brief 100-word storyline, and an estimated film duration. The deadline for submissions is December 20, 2024.
