Co-working Space Now Operational at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station
-Seamless Commute Meets Smarter Workspaces at Namo Bharat Station
Meerut-Taking another meaningful step toward enhancing the ease of living for the people of the National Capital Region, NCRTC has opened a smart co-working space at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station for professionals and entrepreneurs.
Situated at the station's concourse level, the co-working space offers a flexible, future-ready workspace designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. With 42 open workstations, 11 private cabins, and 2 fully equipped meeting rooms, it caters to a wide range of work styles and needs. Whether it's focused solo work, dynamic team collaboration, or professional client meetings, this co-working hub is poised to become a game-changer for users from Ghaziabad and nearby regions.
Located at a key junction along the Ghaziabad–Meerut route, close to Meerut Tiraha Mor and conveniently linked to the Shahid Sthal Delhi Metro Station, the Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station witnesses significant footfall. Having a well-equipped co-working space within the station will help commuters reduce travel time and maximize productivity—especially those working remotely or without a dedicated office.
The co-working space provides a smart, cost-effective alternative to conventional office setups. With high-speed internet, plug-and-play desks, and 24/7 access, it is ideal for the needs of today’s mobile and flexible workforce. Startups, freelancers, and remote professionals will especially benefit from this professional yet affordable workspace.
Equipped with advanced smart technologies, the facility includes biometric and keycard access, IoT-enabled lighting and climate control, and automated meeting room booking. It also features video conferencing tools, wireless screen sharing, and digital brainstorming areas. QR-enabled, cashless services like hot desk booking and vending machine use further enhance the seamless experience.
Premium Lounge at Ghaziabad Gets Coca-Cola Refreshment Zone
In another initiative to reimagine transit stations as lifestyle and community hubs, NCRTC has partnered with Coca-Cola to set up a Refreshment Zone in the Premium Lounge at Ghaziabad station. With cozy cushioned seats and a stocked beverage fridge, the lounge offers a refreshing break for commuters. Passengers can purchase drinking water and other soft drinks from the vending machine placed in the lounge.
This collaboration aligns with NCRTC’s larger vision of turning Namo Bharat stations into vibrant public spaces that foster both connectivity and community. It also contributes to the organization’s strategy to generate non-fare revenue and boost commuter satisfaction.
Now, passengers can access these Premium Lounge amenities and travel in Premium Class coaches by paying just 20% more than the standard fare. The Premium Class fare is now only 1.2 times the fare of a standard ticket, making it a highly cost-effective upgrade. This small addition provides enhanced comfort, guaranteed seating, access to premium facilities, and a more peaceful journey—ideal for both daily and long-distance travellers. For example, if a passenger is spending ₹100 on a standard ticket, they can travel in Premium Class by simply adding ₹20 more.
Namo Bharat trains are currently operational across a 55-km section, covering 11 stations:New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modi Nagar South, Modi Nagar North, and Meerut South.
Trial runs on the remaining stretch are underway, and the full 82-km corridor, including the Meerut Metro section, is expected to be commissioned within this year.
