Namo Bharat Unplugged Musical Fridays Season 1 Finale Set to Ignite Ghaziabad RRTS Station with Live Musical Extravaganza

Ghaziabad -The grand finale of "Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays" Season 1 will take place tomorrow, Friday, November 8th, 2024, at Ghaziabad RRTS Station. The finale will feature the best bands from earlier Namo Bharat Unplugged musical sessions, along with exciting new talent. This two-hour special event will showcase vibrant musical performances by five bands and solo singers, all performing in the unpaid concourse area near Gate No. 4. *Entry is free for everyone, inviting commuters and music enthusiasts alike to enjoy live music in a unique setting.*

he finale will feature electrifying performances by popular bands from RKGIT (Treble Clef), IIMT University, DB RRTS Operations India, Abhigarv, JAM – INN – 5 and a solo act by singer Nishant Sharma. Treble Clef includes Aditya Mishra, Krishna Tyagi, Ekank Awasthi, Aakash, and Chirag Dixit, while Abhigarv is comprised of Abhishek Kundu and Garv Sharma, along with Badal Sharma, HR Kalakar & Nikita Verma from the DB RRTS Operations India team as well as Devansh Sinha from JAM – INN - 5. Sumit Raj Roshan and Shruti Muskan from IIMT University will also perform, along with the solo act by Nishant Sharma.

Since its launch on July 26, 2024, Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays has successfully hosted 15 musical evenings, transforming Friday nights at Ghaziabad RRTS Station into a lively hub of entertainment and community connection. This initiative has given emerging talent a platform to showcase their music, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for commuters and enriching their travel experience. Featuring live performances by local college bands from the NCR region, the series took place every Friday from 6 PM to 7 PM at the concourse level of Ghaziabad RRTS Station.

More than 40 Lakhs passengers have travelled on the Namo Bharat train since operations began. Soon, the corridor will expand to cover 54 kilometers, with new sections connecting Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar. Currently undergoing trial runs, this extension will link vital stations, such as Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar, significantly enhancing transit options for passengers across the National Capital Region (NCR). This expansion promises greater convenience, streamlined connectivity, and improved accessibility for daily commuters and travellers within NCR.
