NCRTC Launches Special Campaign Against Unauthorized Posters and Branding on Namo Bharat Corridor

-Removes Illegal Posters from Over 300 Pillars

-Legal Notices to be Sent to Those Involved in Unauthorized Advertising

Meerut. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has adopted a stringent stance against individuals and organizations defacing pillars and other infrastructure of the Namo Bharat Corridor by pasting unauthorized promotional materials. Strict legal action will now be taken against persons and institutions involved in such activities.

Under the special campaign launched by NCRTC, unauthorised posters, banners and other promotional materials have been removed from over 300 pillars of the Namo Bharat Corridor in Ghaziabad. This campaign is now being extended to other sections of the corridor as well. This initiative represents a significant step taken by NCRTC toward maintaining the cleanliness, structural aesthetics and public dignity of the Namo Bharat corridor.

The corridor infrastructure is a public asset, and pasting any form of unauthorised posters on them, defacing walls or damaging public property is not only a public offense but also a punishable act. Individuals found involved in these activities may face fines according to legal procedures or other punitive action may be taken against them. Additionally, legal notices are being sent to persons and institutions involved in such acts. This campaign shall continue as NCRTC’s sustained efforts towards preserving public property and creating a better transportation environment.

NCRTC appeals to all citizens to refrain from such activities and also prevent others from engaging in these activities. Public infrastructure does not belong to any single entity but represents the shared capital of the entire society, and it is every citizen's responsibility to keep it clean and protected.

The objective of NCRTC is not only to provide passengers with state-of-the-art and safe transportation services but also to ensure a clean, beautiful and dignified public environment. Public cooperation is extremely essential in this direction.
